Vodafone Revamps Select Prepaid Plans To Offer More Data To Users

Time keeps changing. There was a time when calling benefit was the only requirement of users. Then people started looking for plans that have both data and calling benefits in them. Things took a new turn when Jio debuted in the market and called data as the new oil. The telecom market today is flooded with data benefit plans. It is this demand for data that has prompted the telecom companies to come up with better data-centric plans. There is already a war amongst the telcos to offer more attractive plans and Vodafone which is the second largest telecom company in India is now taking this war to one step up. The company has revamped its select prepaid plans to offer increased data benefit of up to two times.

According to a Telecom Talk report, Vodafone is offering 235.2GB of 3G/4G data with its Rs 458 prepaid plan but only for select prepaid users. The validity period of the plan is of 84 days. So basically you get 2.8GB data per day for 84 days. According to the report, some users are receiving this benefit at Rs 398 also. Vodafone offers unlimited calls and free roaming with both these plans.

Vodafone last month also launched a cheap plan at Rs 47. The plan offers 7,500 seconds or 125 minutes of voice calling benefits along with 50 local and national SMS and 500MB data for 28 days. The company also revised its Rs 199 plan to offer 2.8GB data daily for 28 days. The plan also offers unlimited voice calls to the users with a daily cap of 250 minutes and a weekly cap of 1000 minutes on the voice calls.

Not just prepaid, Vodafone has also brought some changes to its RED postpaid plans. The company in June announced free Netflix subscription with RED postpaid plans priced on or above Rs 1299. The Vodafone RED plan at Rs 1299 offers 100GB data with rollover facility of up to 500GB, unlimited local and STD calls, unlimited roaming, 100 ISD minutes, and two months of free Netflix subscription. The RED plan at Rs 1999 offers 200GB data with roll over limit of up to 500GB. There are also free local and STD calls, unlimited roaming, 200 ISD minutes, one year subscription to Vodafone Play and Amazon Prime and 3 months of free Netflix subscription. Last, the Vodafone Rs 2999 RED plan that offers 300GB data with 500GB data roll over limit, 200 ISD minutes, unlimited local, STD and roaming calls, Vodafone Play subscription for 12 months, Amazon Prime subscription for 12 months , and free Netflix for 12 months. – India Today
