Vodafone Idea Loses Marketing EVP To Facebook

Siddharth Banerjee, the executive vice president at Vodafone India for marketing, has left the company to join Facebook India as director for its global sales organization (GSO), citing an update to Banerjee’s LinkedIn profile.

The departure is the first from the newly formed Vodafone Idea. Before the merger with Idea Cellular, Banerjee was responsible for marketing and branding at Vodafone India and, after the merger, reported to Sashi Shankar of Idea Cellular .―Telecompaper
