Vodafone files for settling tax dispute below retro regulation

Vodafone has filed an application with the Indian authorities to settle its tax dispute below the retrospective regulation, agreeing to indemnify it in opposition to any future claims.

After the processing of the application, the company would be issued Form 2,. that signals acceptance of the application, setting the stage for the issue of refund of tax paid.
