TRAI revises telcos’ revenue reporting format

TRAI has revised the format for submission of quarterly revenue and usage data by telcos and directed the latter to include their applicable gross revenue (ApGR) numbers required under the amended unified licence agreement.

Highlights from the circular:

“The DoT has amended the unified licence agreement, wherein the format of statement of revenue and license fee for access services has been revised and the term ApGR included before AGR, and accordingly, the Authority has decided to revise the formats for submitting the report on revenue and usage.

All TSPs are directed to submit the report on revenue & usage to the Authority, on quarter basis, within forty five days from the date of the end of respective quarter, except fourth quarter of the financial year for which the report shall be submitted within sixty days from the date of the end of the quarter.”
