TRAI extends submission deadline for rationalisation of telecom entry fee

Telecom Regulatory Authority of India had released a Consultation Paper on “Rationalization of Entry Fee and Bank Guarantees” on 26th July 2022. The last date of receiving comments on the issues raised in the Consultation Paper from the stakeholders was 23 August 2022 and counter-comments was 6h September 2022.

The stakeholders have sought extension of time for sending their comments on the consultation paper on “Rationalization of Entry Fee and Bank Guarantees”. In view of this, it has been decided to extend the last date for submission of written comments up to 6h September 2022. Counter comments may also be submitted by 20th September 2022. No further requests for extension in this regard would be considered.
