TRAI extends last date to receive comments on Satellite-based connectivity paper

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has released a Consultation Paper on “Licensing Framework for Satellite based connectivity for low bit rate applications” on March 12, 2021. The last date for receiving written comments on the issues raised in the Consultation Paper from the stakeholders was fixed as April 9, 2021 and for counter comments as April 23, 2021.

In response to the request made by the Industry Associations and stakeholders for extension of time for submission of comments, the last date for submission of written comments and counter comments has been extended upto April 23, 2021 and May 7, 2021 respectively.
