Telecom Deal Creates £50M Group

Indigo Telecom Group has snapped up a counterpart in a deal that creates a combined business with an annual turnover of more than £50m.

The company has bought 4site, a specialist provider of mobile wireless and fibre services. It was founded in 2002.

The combined group has a workforce of more than 300 staff and ten offices in the UK, Ireland, France, Germany and Singapore.

Kevin Taylor, chairman of Indigo, said: “The synergies between our two businesses presents significant opportunities for continued growth and we see huge benefit for our customers from our expanded portfolio of services.

“Both organisations have strong reputations for delivering industry excellence in consulting, projects, delivery and service and we are very excited by the opportunity this will provide to both our employees and our customers’.”

Ian Duggan, chief executive of 4site, added: “This deal accelerates our long-term growth ambitions by becoming part of a leading, global business whose values mirror our own.”

4site is headquartered in Limerick with operations in Dublin and Reading.

Indigo Telecom’s global headquarters are in Magor, Monmouthshire, and the business has another UK base in Slough. – Insider Media Ltd.
