Tariff War! BSNL Takes on Reliance Jio With This New Recharge Pack Ahead of Festive Season

BSNL has actually managed to provide better offers when compared to RJio, something that even largest telcos like Bharti Airtel, Vodafone and Idea Cellular are still struggling with.

The state-owned BSNL is among few telecom service providers who has managed to stay afloat in the industry where tariff war is at extreme height. BSNL has continuously brought in recharge packs with out of the box thinking. The telecom industry which disrupted by Reliance Jio with its heavy data, freebies, cheap recharge packs and unlimited calls, has seen tremendous shift in prepaid plans. Interestingly, BSNL on multiple occasions have proof the point that they are strong and ready to take up any challenge. In the latest development, BSNL has once again tried to take on RJio with a new recharge pack. What is even more interesting is that, BSNL has actually managed to provide better offers when compared to RJio, something that even largest telcos like Bharti Airtel, Vodafone and Idea Cellular are still struggling with.

As the country prepares for festive season which is around the corner, many telcos are providing 1.4GB data daily at cheapest recharge pack of Rs 199.

However, BSNL has now decided to stir competition by giving a massive 2.2GB data on daily basis to every prepaid user subscribed to ten different tariff plans.

According to BGR report,  BSNL is upending those plans with its new offer where customers get 2.2GB additional data when they recharge with Rs 186.

The Rs 186 recharge plan already offers 1GB data daily and now with the newly revised offer, a customer will be able to enjoy a massive 3.2GB data daily. With this, BSNL is giving up to 89.6GB data at Rs 186 recharge pack.

BSNL’s this offer makes it very exciting and unmatched compared to other rivals.

Reliance Jio on the other hand, has two recharge packs namely Rs 149 and Rs 198, where it is giving up to 1.4GB data per day and 2GB data per day respectively.

Not only this, the BSNL’s bumper offer is only available to selective recharge packs apart from Rs 186 recharge pack. Other recharge plans that also have additional 2.2GB data are – Rs 429, Rs 485, Rs 666 and Rs 999.

A Telecom Talk report mentions that, the ten tariff plans include five for new users and five for existing users. While BSNL is challenging the leaders in the industry, its limited customer base and lack of 4G support is a disappointment. The offer will be applicable across the country, except for Mumbai and New Delhi circles.

All the plans also have unlimited voice calls without any FUP limit to any network across the country. – Zee Business
