Suspended Telecom Official Seeks Justice From Union Minister Sinha

Suspended civil servant Ashish Joshi has written to Union Minister of Communication Manoj Sinha, seeking justice.

In the letter, Joshi has said: “My salary (subsistence allowance) has been reduced to 50 pc. My wife and daughter are in Delhi because of my daughter’s education. I have been away from my family for three years. I request that I be transferred to the headquarters, i.e., New Delhi.”

Joshi was the Controller of Communication Accounts in Uttarakhand when he was suspended.

Joshi was suspended by the Department of Telecom on February 26, a day after he sought action against a former AAP MLA’s “incendiary” Twitter post.―Business Standard
