Spectrum bands-5G spectrum auction

Spectrum available for award in this process will be assigned by SMRA e-auction. The auction for spectrum in all the bands (600 MHz, 700 MHz, 800 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 2100 MHz, 2300 MHz, 2500 MHz, 3300 MHz and 26 GHz) will be conducted simultaneously. Spectrum will be put up for auction in each of the LSAs in the 600 MHz, 700 MHz, 800 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 2100 MHz, 2300 MHz, 2500 MHz, 3300 MHz and 26 GHz bands.

The minimum quantity of spectrum to be bid for by Existing Licensee/ New Entrant, block size and additional quantity beyond minimum bid quantity of spectrum in various bands is summarized below:

A bidder can be categorized as an “Existing Licensee” in an LSA and at the same time, can be categorized as a “New Entrant” in any other LSA in a particular band.
