Slovenia’s Telemach Plans USD 114 Million Investment
Slovenian fixed and mobile operator Telemach says it plans to invest EUR100 million (USD114 million) by 2020 to continue to strengthen its market position. According to a report from STA, the firm says it increased its share of the country’s wireless market by two percentage points in 2018 and it now claims more than 21 percent of all users. CEO Adrian Jezina is quoted as saying: ‘We have a clear goal that we want to have the best mobile network in Slovenia.’
TeleGeography’s GlobalComms Database notes that Telemach competes in Slovenia’s mobile sector with larger rivals Telekom Slovenije and A1, as well as smaller provider T-2.―Tele Geograph
