Slovenia Telecom Services Investment Up 14%

The total turnover from electronic communication services in Slovenia amounted to EUR 1.17 billion in 2017, up by 3 percent, according to figures from the state statistics office. Investments increased by 14 percent to EUR 247 million.

Mobile services accounted for 28 percent or EUR 323 million, down 3 percent from 2016. This was followed by fixed telephony services with 24 percent and EUR 279 million in revenues, a decline of 7 percent from the previous year, and interconnection services with 13 percent or EUR 158 million.

At the end of 2017, there were 14 fixed network operators, seven mobile operators, 48 cable and satellite service providers and 61 ISPs. – Telecom Paper
