Sar ties up with BSNL, telecom stock hits 10% upper circuit

Sar Televenture Limited, Gurugram has entered into a revenue sharing agreement with BSNL to deliver telecom services (including fixed, wireless, broadband, etc.) to end users in Sonipat, Haryana.

This project’s scope involves constructing, expanding, and maintaining the Optical Fiber Cables (OFC) network within residential and commercial complexes, as well as establishing interconnections between buildings using OFC.

Additionally, it includes the installation and upkeep of overhead OFC backhaul from the nearest BSNL pickup point to the Optical Line Terminal (OLT) location.

The project also covers establishing interconnectivity at the network operation center and offering maintenance support for the existing telecom infrastructure and other installed telecom equipment as needed on a case-by-case basis.

Under the agreement, BSNL and SAR Televenture will share revenue at 51% and 49% for urban areas and 50% each for rural areas for 10 years.

Subsequent to the exchange filing, Sar Televenture Limited at a market cap of Rs. 375 crores, saw shares rise to Rs. 250.15 from the previous day’s Rs. 227.45.
