Sanjay Jolly joins Vodafone Idea as EVP of Technology, Hub Operations

Vodafone Idea (Vi) announced it has appointed Sanjay Jolly as Executive Vice President (EVP) – Technology, Hub Operations. Prior to VIL, he was Head – Customer Operations at Ericsson.

“He is a seasoned professional and has diverse experience in heading large-scale customer operations, managing comprehensive network rollout and technology transformation programs,” the telco said in a Linkedin post.

Most recently, Vi appointed Reema Jain as the Chief Digital Officer of the company, reporting to MD & CEO, Ravinder Takkar.

With over 32 years of experience in spearheading Delivery Management including Managed Services, Managed Capacity, FSO delivery in RINA (Region India), Telecom Network Planning, Design & Deployment, Infra NOC , Fiber Operation and Energy Management, Jolly also has skills in managing large teams along with the cross-functional collaborative leadership approach to work in sync with the corporate objectives & motivating them for achieving business / individual goals.

Prior to Ericsson, Jolly served as Vice President – Network at Etisalat Group. Prior to that, he had worked with Bharti Infratel and Bharti Airtel. He holds Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic & Communication from Gulbarga University. HRNext
