Samsung’s factory in China temporarily shut due to Covid case

On Wednesday, Samsung Electronics Co.’s factory in Suzhou, China, had been temporarily shut down after a COVID-19 infection was reported, sources said.

The partial shutdown of the consumer electronics factory occurred after local employees tested positive for the virus on the previous day.

Samsung’s semiconductor facility in the same industrial park has not affected by the temporary closure.
