Samsung Most Popular Mobile Brand In India Followed By Vivo, Oppo
Samsung has emerged as the most popular mobile brand with an online search volume of 673000, followed by Vivo, Oppo, and iPhone with search volumes of 611500, 550000, and 500000 respectively.
A mobile brand study conducted in the Indian market by online visibility management platform SEMrush brought out that Samsung’s popularity in the Indian market could be attributed to its range of affordable mid-priced smartphones – M series.
As per the study, Samsung M20 was the most searched keyword for 2019 with an online search volume of 3000000 followed by Vivo v9, Oppo A3S, Samsung A7, and Samsung J7 with search volumes of 1500000, 1220000, 1110000, and 836500 respectively.
“In today’s competitive market, Samsung has jumped the bandwagon by launching affordable mid-priced M series. Especially, M20 from Samsung has become the most popular phone in India in terms of online search volume,” said Fernando Angulo, head of international market, SEMrush.
Despite having a slight drop in the search volume in 2019 compared with 2018, Samsung has succeeded in holding the position of the most popular mobile brand for both 2018 and 2019.
According to the study, Realme with its affordable smartphone range generated great traction and showed maximum positive search volume difference between 2018 and 2019.
Nokia, Moto, and Sony also managed to be in the top 10 popular mobile brands in India in 2019.―Gadgets Now
