Samsung Galaxy J8 Now Available to Buy in India

Samsung Galaxy J8, the successor to the Galaxy J7, is now available to purchase in India. The smartphone was announced in May this year alongside the Galaxy J6 (Review), Galaxy A6, and Galaxy A6+ (Review). The Samsung Galaxy J8 is one of the four smartphone in the affordable segment featuring the Infinity Displays, which has been exclusive to the high-end Galaxy series. It comes with a 6-inch Super AMOLED Infinity Display, AI capabilities, dual rear cameras, and more.

Samsung Galaxy J8 Price in India

Samsung Galaxy J8 price in India has been set at Rs 18,990 and it comes in Black, Gold, and Blue colour options. The smartphone will be available starting today, June 28 on both offline and online channels. While it will be sold via select offline outlets across the country, the e-commerce platforms including Paytm, Flipkart, Amazon, and Samsung’s own online store.

For the launch offers, the Samsung Galaxy J8 is available with a cashback of Rs 2,000 on the purchases made via ICICI debit and credit cards. There is an additional value of Rs 1,500 offered on the exchange with an old phone. Samsung is also offering one-time screen replacement worth Rs 999 free of cost. All of the above offers will be applicable if the customer chooses Appario Pvt Ltd as the preferred seller on all the platforms.

Samsung Galaxy J8 Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy J8 comes with support for dual SIM cards and runs on Android 8.0 Oreo. It comes with a 6-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display having an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage, with support for expandability via microSD card.

For the camera, it has dual cameras on the rear consisting of a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. There is a 16-megapixel camera. There is an LED flash on both front and rear cameras. – Financial Express
