Samsung Galaxy A8s Could Be The First Smartphone With Infinity-O Display

South Korean smartphone brand Samsung at its developers conference this year unveiled new Infinity displays. This included four different display panels. Three of them — Infinity-U, Infinity-V and Infinity-O — featured notch-like cutouts, while the other was dubbed as notchless New Infinity.

Now, it is being reported that the company may introduce the Infinity-U display in its upcoming Samsung Galaxy A8s. The latest leak also suggests that the handset will be the company’s first smartphone to come with the U-shaped cutout. As the shared images reveal, the notch is smaller than the waterdrop notch featuring latest Oppo and Vivo devices.

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy A8s next year. It is being said that the smartphone will initially be launched in the Chinese market and will later hit the global markets. The device is rumoured to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset.

It is said to come with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Galaxy A8s may also sport a triple camera setup at the back like the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018).
