Reliance Jio has been growing rapidly over the years competing with the likes of Airtel and Vodafone. Even though Jio’s download speed has been reducing over the past months, the telecom has still managed to out-speed its rivals in terms of download.

According to the graph presented by TRAI, Reliance Jio offered an average speed of 18.7Mbps(falling from an average speed of 18.7Mbps in the month of November). Reliance Jio’s download speed has been falling down since October, nevertheless, the service provider has maintained the top position with its network capabilities. The company attained an average download speed of 22.3Mbps, however, it was still a long way from an average download speed of 25.6Mbps the company reached back in 2017.

In terms of upload speed, however, the tables have turned. Idea led with an average 4G upload speed of 5.3Mbps(5.3Mbps in November) followed by Vodafone with an average 4G upload speed of 5.1Mbps(up from 4.9Mbps in November). Jio and Airtel took the third and fourth position with an average 4G upload speed of 4.3Mbps(down from 4.5Mbps in November) and 3.9Mbps(down from 4Mbps in November).

Reliance Jio took a downfall in upload speed too compared to its own record data from October. Notwithstanding, the telecom has been leading both in terms of growing numbers of subscribers and network speed.―The Indian Wire
