Realme X50 Pro, India’s First 5G Phone, Launched At Rs. 37,999

Touted to be the first 5G-enabled smartphone to enter India, the Realme X50 Pro was launched today for Rs. 37,999. The flagship smartphone which was also simultaneously launched in Spain.

Apart from being the first 5G-ready smartphone to enter India, the Realme X50 Pro also houses the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset, dual mode 5G support 90Hz super AMOLED display, quad rear cameras with 20x zoom, and more.

Realme X50 Pro 5G price in India:

The Realme X50 Pro comes in three memory variants. The the base variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage is priced at Rs. 37,999, the 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage is priced at Rs. 39,999 and the top-end variant with 12GB RAM and 256 GB internal memory.

The phones will go live on sale today on e-commerce site Flipkart and its official website, realme.com from 6 pm (IST).

Realme X50 Pro 5G specifications:

The Realme X50 Pro 5G is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, which is capable of supporting dual-mode 5G connectivity. This essentially means that since 5G is not yet available in India yet, you can still use the phone in 4G mode in the country and can easily switch to 5G when outside India via ‘Smart 5G’. There is also dual-channel network acceleration, which is claimed to deliver a maximum speed of 1.5Gbps.

Moreover, the smartphone features a super AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate. Coming to the cameras, the phone houses a 64MP primary camera bundled with quad rear camera setup, including an 8MP ultra-wide-angle, a 12MP telephoto sensor, and a 2MP black and white portrait sensor, along with a 20x hybrid zoom support for six cameras, front and back. The cameras also come with a number of features such as Portrait Distortion Correction, AI scene recognition, AI Beauty, and a lot more.

For selfies, there are two cameras on the front. There is a 32MP wide-angle Sony IMX616 sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera.

Moreover, the smartphone features a super AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate and runs on Realme UI based on Android 10. Battery capacity features 4200mAh battery with 65W SuperDart Charge support technology, which has debuted in India and can fill the battery fully in 30 minutes, claims the company.―Livemint
