Rajat Mukarji is sadly no longer with us

In deep shock and a heavy heart, we mourn the sudden demise of Rajat Mukarji. He was 70.

A telecom veteran, Mukarji has been Director General, Broadband India Forum for the last three years or so. Prior to this, Mukarji worked with ZTE, Vodafone Idea Limited, where he worked for almost 17 years, and Birla AT&T.

A heart stroke at 3 pm and gone! The doctors at the hospital said he had already been gone before he reached the hospital. Cremation will take place today at 3 pm at Cremation Ground, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.

Rajat, we shall all miss you deeply. I have lost a dear friend and well-wisher and shall also miss him at the Stephanian alumni college meets, where he was so active. I pray that the Almighty give strength and courage to his bereaved family to withstand this irreparable loss! RIP!
