Portuguese Telecom Services Without Loyalty Contracts Found Twice As Expensive

Portuguese price comparison site ComparaJa.pt has analysed the offer of different operators and concluded that the conditions for contracts with loyalty of less than 24 months are quite expensive, especially at the time of installation and activation of service, reports Diario de Noticias. Packages without loyalty can cost twice as much.

The study took into account quadruple-play packages by the four operators in the market (Meo, NOS, Vodafone and Nowo). With Nowo, for example, which offers the cheapest quadruple-play package, a contract without loyalty costs more than twice as much as one with the maximum loyalty period. The total cost for 24 months of this package is EUR 735.77, with the offer of a monthly fee. Without loyalty, the invoice amounts to EUR 1497.52. – Telecom Paper
