Polycab signs up Redington as distributor for passive networking solutions

Polycab India Limited, India’s largest wire and cable manufacturer and a fast-growing player in the FMEG space, and Redington Limited, a globally renowned supply-chain solution provider, have announced a strategic partnership for the Indian market.

Polycab’s end-to-end passive networking solutions will now be distributed by Redington as a national distributor.

With this collaboration, Polycab’s telecom division, Polycab Telecom, strives to meet distribution goals and strengthen the presence of its passive networking portfolio, which includes end-to-end copper and fibre systems, across India by leveraging Redington’s extensive distribution network and efficient operational expertise.

Redington, known for making the best use of resources to achieve the best results, will enable Polycab to engage with its large network of Value-Added Distributors (VADs) and drive business through them across the country’s various tiers of cities.

Redington would provide Polycab’s vast range of products, including both Optical Fibre Cable and Copper System, to channel partners and facilitate the company’s accessibility to VADs, who would collaborate well with their ecosystem of System Integrators and Value Partners through an integrated activation programme.

At around 12.51 PM, Polycab India was trading at Rs2,589.90 apiece, up by 1% from its previous closing of Rs2,564.35 on the BSE. The scrip touched intraday high and low of Rs2,591.80 and Rs2,560.95 respectively. IIFL Securities
