Orange Poland reaches 1m fibre subs

Orange Poland says it has passed the one million fibre broadband subscription milestone. The vast majority of customers get services direct from Orange, but around 50,000 are via third-party providers which have wholesale agreements with Orange.

The French-owned telco says its fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) networks are now available to 5.8 million households across Poland, thanks to an investment of almost PLN4 billion (USD997 million) in its fibre rollout since it began in 2015. SAMENA Council
