Network: A scalable, resilient and efficient network is the foundation of any IT & Telecom infrastructure. The alliance between Ooredoo & Cisco offers powerful, extensible networks with built-in integrated security. It also delivers centralised and remote management capabilities through offerings such as Network as a Service (NaaS) from Ooredoo that would allow Enterprise & SMB customers in Myanmar to deploy networks at scale and deliver higher returns on investments.

Collaboration: Massive adoptions of handheld devices have changed the way we work, live, play & learn. Seamless connectivity and unified experiences are a must today. The alliance will see Oordeoo bring in Cisco’s feature-rich and affordable collaboration solutions (Audio, Video Conferencing, Meetings, Webex Teams, TPaaS, UCaaS) that can be flexibly deployed on-premises or in the Cloud, along with its own multi-platform support to customers of every size across the country.

Cybersecurity: As digital adoption gather pace it also increases the risk of potential cyberattacks. Companies need to have the right people, processes and technologies in place to ensure they protect themselves and remain a step ahead of malicious actors. Cisco and Ooredoo Myanmar will jointly work to help companies adopt the right security infrastructure to safeguard against any such attacks. This will include defensive and offensive solutions from Cisco’s Security portfolio such as Firewalls, Cisco’s Intrusion Prevention Systems, Cisco Stealthwatch and Cisco Umbrella.

Training and Capability Enablement: Having access to an adequate pool of talent is critical to the success of Myanmar’s Digital Transformation. It is important for Myanmar to develop local capabilities on this front as the region is facing a talent shortage. Cisco and Ooredoo Myanmar will exchange best-in-class learning resources, and leverage Cisco’s Black Belt program, to train local talent for a sustainable growth of the digital economy. – Developingtelecoms
