OnePlus ties up with Reliance Jio for 5G

OnePlus and Jio have partnered to provide a 5G ecosystem to India, allowing all OnePlus 5G handsets to be powered by Jio’s True 5G technology. The latest OnePlus 10 Series, OnePlus 9R, and OnePlus 8 Series, as well as the Nord, Nord 2T, Nord 2, Nord CE, Nord CE 2, and Nord CE 2 Lite, have had access to the Jio True 5G network since the start of this month. Now, the OnePlus 9 Pro, OnePlus 9, and OnePlus 9 RT will also have access to 5G services soon.

“Jio and OnePlus teams have been actively working together at the backend to make 5G technology more accessible to Indian consumers and continue to expand their 5G technology services across the product portfolio”, said OnePlus in a press release.

The release further notes that people will also get cashback of Rs 10,800 for eligible OnePlus and Jio 5G users during the OnePlus anniversary sale period from December 13–18. In addition, the first 1,000 beneficiaries will get a complimentary Red Cable Care plan worth Rs 1499 and a Jio Saavn Pro plan worth Rs 399.
