OnePlus Nord Day sale postponed, now on August 6

Smartphone brand OnePlus has postponed the sale of its recently-launched phone in India. The phone was earlier set to go on open sale on August 4 via OnePlus official website and Amazon.in. But as per the company’s latest forum post, the handset will now be available via open sale on August 6 at 12:00am. One can also find the new sale date on the banners running on e-commerce site Amazon.

The new sale date is also the first day of Amazon Prime Day sale that starts on August 6 at 12:00am. Buyers will be able to buy the OnePlus Nord on the following channels- Amazon.in, OnePlus.in, OnePlus Experience Stores and OnePlus Authorized Stores. The post also states that the smartphone will be available on Reliance Digital and MyJio Stores from August 7-August 12, followed by all authorized offline retail partners from August 12 onwards.

OnePlus Nord is a 5G phone which is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor. OnePlus has announced three variants of the newly launched smartphone. The base variant comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage capacity. It is priced at Rs 24,999. There is an 8GB RAM variant with 128GB internal storage and is priced at Rs 27,999. Similarly, there is a 12GB RAM model as well that will retail at Rs 29,999.

The handset has a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with 2400x1080pixels resolution. OnePlus Nord runs on OxygenOS10.5 based on Android 10 and packs up to 12GB of RAM. For imaging duties, the device is equipped with a 48MP quad lens camera system at the back. The camera setup comprises of 48MP Sony IMX586 main sensor, an 8MP secondary lens with f/2.25 and a 5MP sensor with f/2.4.

For selfies, the handset has a 32MP+8MP dual camera at the front. OnePlus Nord is backed by a 4115 mAh with WarpCharge30T fast charging. TOI
