Nokia Jumped Up On The 500 Most Valuable Brand List

Times now are not so turbulent for Nokia anymore. The Finnish company is getting stronger with each year. After coming back to the Fortune 500 list in 2018, Nokia climbed up on the 500 most valuable brand list for managed by Brand Finance. The list was made for 2018 (but in the title of the report it says 2019), and it is published just before the World Economic Forum in Davos, where Nokia’s CEO is also actively participating. Nokia improved from 189th place to 187th place this year, while the last year’s growth was impressive – from 335th place to 188th, and it is the only Finnish company to be found there.

In front of Nokia are brands like HP(186), Delta(184), and 7-eleven (185). The first place took Amazon which is followed by Apple and then Google.

The year 2019 will be even better for Nokia since the transition towards 5G networks is starting, and its brand will rise even more. Nokia is again not solely present in the networking. The phone licensing business is also helping raise the brand awareness, and thus its value. There is still much to do to bring the Nokia stock where it was a few years ago, but everything looks right now.―Nokiamob
