Nokia 9 PureView Launch Date Postponed To MWC 2019

The Nokia 9 PureView is the most anticipated and top-graded premium smartphone within the Nokia family. With fresh rumors surfacing on the internet, HMD Global might launch the Nokia 9 PureView at the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona. Earlier it was believed that the Nokia 9 PureView will be launched in January end this year but now it seems that the Finnish company has postponed the launch date of Nokia 9 PureView due to unresolved issues in the production line. Once the glitches are resolved, we shall see the Nokia 9 PureView in the Indian market in February this year.

The expected launch date of Nokia 9 PureView has been making the news for quite some time now and most recently the Chief Product Officer of HMD Global recalled the last year’s MWC in a tweet and stated that he can’t wait for this year’s mega mobile event which gives us a hint that the company might be in its last leg to launch the Nokia 9 PureView in MWC 2019.

Along with the Nokia 9 PureView, the Finnish mobile company is also slated to introduce the successor of Nokia 6.1- Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 8.1- Nokia 8.1 Plus in India. The Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 8.1 is expected to sport a punch-hole display with a dual camera set up while the Nokia 9 PureView will feature five camera sensors and in-display fingerprint scanner. The smartphone may also become the world’s first smartphone to boost a Penta-lens camera setup.

The Nokia 9 PureView is expected to feature a 5.9-inch Quad HD 3D OLED (2K) PureDisplay coupled with HDR10 support. It will be backed by the Snapdragon 845 with 8GB/128GB of RAM. The upcoming handset will come with Android One platform, which will enable users to get security update for three years along with two years of the software update. ―Times Now
