Nokia 8.1 And 5.1 Plus Available In Finland

Two of the most attractive new Nokia phones, the Nokia 5.1 Plus which we reviewed here, and the new Nokia 8.1, which we will review hopefully soon, found their way to Nokia’s homeland Finland.

Nokia 5.1 Plus is a solid midrange, with a capable hardware that includes Helio P60, 3GB of RAM, USB Type-C, decent camera and great ergonomic feel in the hand, as well as beautiful design. The device will be available for €199 in Black and Blue, with sales (deliveries) starting in one week on 14th January 2019.

A more exciting device is the new Nokia 8.1, and Finns will be first in Europe to have a chance to buy the Nokia 7 Plus successor. The Nokia 8.1 comes with an 6.18″ HDR10-certified FullHD+ display with Pure Display Technology. Under the hood we have Qualcomm’s best non-flagship SOC, the Snapdragon 710 in combination with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Nokia 8.1 also brings an improved camera with a 12MP+13MP dual-lens setup on the rear with OIS, and a 20MP front camera with pixel binning.

The Nokia 8.1 will be available from 14th January for €399, which is in line with the price of Nokia 7 plus when it was released. Pre-orders for Nokia 8.1 and 5.1 Plus can be pre-ordered today.

Another notable thing is that Nokia 7.1 (4GB/64GB) received a price cut from €379 to €329 to better fit in HMD’s portfolio.― Nokiamob
