Neelam Dhawan joins Sequoia-backed Moglix as board advisor

Moglix, a business-to-business supply chain technology solutions provider, announced that Neelam Dhawan, former managing director at Microsoft India, has joined the Singapore-based firm as a board advisor.

Dhawan will be offering strategic advice to Moglix as it looks to scale globally, according to a company statement.

She brings over 38 years of experience in leading the transformation of complex technology businesses across verticals including manufacturing, banking and finance, telecommunications, healthcare, and government. Dhawan has held leadership roles across IBM, Microsoft, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise.

Currently, she is a supervisory board member at Royal Philips and holds non-executive director roles at ICICI Bank in India, Skylo Technologies, Capita PLC, and Yatra Online. She is also a board member of IIT Delhi.

Dhawan has been on the executive council of the National Association of Software and Service Companies, an Indian non-governmental trade association and advocacy group focused on information technology and business process outsourcing.

“She has been instrumental in shaping the IT industry in India,” said Rahul Garg, Moglix’s founder and CEO.

Founded in 2015, Moglix is supply chain solutions for maintenance, repair, and operations as well as packaging procurement. It also offers software-as-a-service products for contract management.

The company announced its foray into supply chain financing this year with the launch of its digital platform Credlix. In 2020, it expanded to Europe via its base location in the UK.

Moglix is backed by Sequoia Capital India, Tiger Global Management, Jungle Ventures, Accel India, among others. TechinAsia
