The tenure of Amitabh Kant, NITI Aayog Chief Executive Officer, has been extended by a year till June 2022. Before moving to NITI Aayog, he was Secretary in the Government of India handling industrial policy and promotion. Following his superannuation in 2016, he was appointed the CEO and will now continue till 2022.

At Microsoft, Manik Gupta was recently appointed Corporate Vice President for Microsoft Teams Consumer, GroupMe, and Skype. Before joining Microsoft, Gupta was Uber’s Chief Product Officer.

At Truecaller, Jijendra Ravindran was recently appointed Vice President of Global Sales. Ravindran brings the experience at Xiaomi, where he was the associate director and lead for MIUI India.

Bhanumurthy Ballapuram has been appointed Vice President for Customer Experience, JAPAC, Google. Before joining Google, he was President and COO at Wipro.

Vasanthi Ramesh is NetApp’s new Vice President of engineering for Manageability and Data Protection. Ramesh leaves Zalando SE, where she was the VP of engineering for Product and Catalogue teams.

Kunal Mehta has joined Tata Consultancy Services as its Program Director. Mehta earlier worked at FabIndia Group as CTO.

Noopur Chaturvedi has been appointed as CEO NPCI Bharat Bill Pay. Prior to this, Chaturvedi was the country head SMB, PayU Payments Private Limited.

Kaustubh Mehde has been appointed head of research and intelligence at Cyble. He will be departing from Reliance Industries Group where he was the Assistant Vice President – Information Risk Management & Cybersecurity.

Adam Crozier has been appointed BT Group Plc Chairman. He has stepped down as Chairman of ASOS plc.

InMobi has appointed Todd Rose as Senior Vice President of Global Business Development. Before this role, Rose was the Chief Business Development Officer at InMarket.

Intel’s new head of human resources is Christy Pambianchi. Before joining Intel, she was Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Verizon.

Wipro’s new Senior Vice President and global partnership lead is Jason Eichenholz. Before joining Wipro, Eichenholz served as Deloitte Consulting’s Managing Director, National Sales and GTM Leader Cloud.

Green Revolution Cooling has appointed Mike Montez as its Solutions Architect for Strategic Alliances. Before this, Montez worked with Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a solutions architect and systems engineer.

Peter DeSantis, Vice President of AWS Global Infrastructure and a 21-year veteran at Amazon, was promoted to the S-team earlier this year.

Rob Thomas is IBM’s new Senior Vice President Global Markets. In his prior role, Rob served as Senior Vice President of IBM Cloud and Data Platform.

International Telecommunications Union (ITU) working party has selected Bharat Bhatia President of the ITU-APT Foundation of India (IAFI) to be the Chairman of the Working Group on 5G for Industrial and Enterprise applications.
