Bimal Dayal has been appointed as CEO, Indus Towers Limited (formerly Bharti Infratel Limited).

Jagbir Singh has been appointed as chief technology officer, Vodafone Idea. He replaces Vishant Vora. In another top-level appointment, the telco has named Manish Sansi as the new chief legal officer. Sansi takes on the role of chief legal officer following Kumar Das’ resignation.

Airtel has appointed Neeraj Jha as head for corporate communications and corporate affairs. He makes this move after 14 years at HDFC.

Rajeev Singh Rathore has been appointed as vice president of global service provider partnerships, South Asia, RingCentral. Previously, he served as regional vice president and country head at Coriant.

STL has announced a number of key leadership appointments to expand its capabilities to offer end-to-end advanced solutions for digital networks and drive its next phase of growth. Srinivas Jagadeesan has been appointed as head, wireless product development; Keith Rowley as chief delivery officer, network services, United Kingdom; Anjan Das as chief policy advocacy officer; and Saikat Mitra as chief operating officer, network software.

Kaspersky has appointed Rohit Sood as business manager exclusively for government segment and smart cities for India region.

Ruma Balasubramanian has been appointed as managing director for South East Asia, Google Cloud. Ruma joins Google Cloud from Cisco Systems. She takes over from Tim Synan.

Rajiv Ramaswami has been appointed as president and CEO, Nutanix. Ramaswami will succeed co-founder Dheeraj Pandey.

Route Mobile has appointed the company’s co-founder Sandipkumar Gupta as the chairman. Sandipkumar succeeds Chandrakant Gupta. Also, Arun Gupta has been named as the additional director (non-executive independent).

NTT elevates Abhijit Dubey as global chief executive officer. He will succeed Jason Goodall.

Arvind Krishna, CEO, IBM, has been appointed as chairman, taking over from executive chairman and former chief executive Ginni Rometty, who is retiring at the end of the year.

Nishant Batra has been appointed as chief strategy and technology officer and member of the group leadership team, Nokia. Nishant joins Nokia from Veoneer.

Nick Jeffery has been appointed as president and CEO, Frontier Communications. Jeffery will succeed Bernie Han.

Robert Merki has been appointed as CTO and member of the executive board, R&M. Robert Merki is a senior R&D executive with over 10 years of successful management experience in the construction and building industry. He succeeds Stefan Grätzer.

Singapore Telecommunications has appointed Dr Anna Yip as its deputy CEO of Singapore consumer business. Prior to her role, Yip was the executive director and CEO of Smartone Telecommunications in Hong Kong and Macau since 2016.

Basil Alwan and his joint co-president of the IP/Optical unit at Nokia, Sri Reddy, have handed in their resignation letters.
