Micromax Infinity N11 & Infinity 12 Launched, Price Starts At Rs 8,999

The year 2018 has not yet ended for the domestic smartphone maker Micromax as it has launched two new smartphones today (December 18) in India. The Micromax Infinity N11 and Infinity N12 are two of the new handsets in the company’s ‘N’ series and aim to compete with the likes of Xiaomi (and probably Nokia) in the sub-Rs 10,000 segment. The handsets are the first by the company to boast of a ‘notch’ on top of the screen.

The N11 is priced at Rs 8,999 while the Infinity N12 can be purchased at Rs 9,999. None of the two smartphones come with different variants. The duo will be made available in all offline stores starting December 26. Micromax has even partnered with Reliance Jio so the buyers can get up to Rs 2200 cashback along with 50GB data free.

As for the specifications, the Android 8.1 Oreo-based smartphone is promised by the firm to get Android 9 Pie soon. It has a 6.19-inch HD+ screen with 18.9:9 aspect ratio. The highlight of the device is that it is the first by Micromax to sport a notch on top. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB expandable storage. At the back there are dual rear cameras with 13MP and 5MP sensors while at the front you get a 16MP selfie camera. Backed by a 4000mAh battery, the smartphone supports dual SIM cards and has face unlock+fingerprint sensor to keep the handset secure.

The N11 has nearly the same set of specifications as the N12. The only change here is that the smartphone 2GB RAM and an 8MP front-facing camera. Rest stays the same. The smartphone also has face unlock and a fingerprint sensor at the back. – Gadgets Now
