Microlease Test Centre of Excellence Offers Pay As You Go Model

Microlease is going to open a Test Centre of Excellence at Bengaluru, India on April 12, 2018. The Test Centre of Excellence offers Pay As You Go model for firms looking to take advantage of state-of-the-art testing facilities without the hassles of a large investment. This model, similar to a rental service, bills the user for actual hours of usage of selected equipment chosen from a wide range of calibrated test solutions (both software and hardware) sourced from various OEMs. Just-in-time availability of test equipment, even on a short notice for both long and short durations is likely to increase the appeal of the test center even further. Microlease’s vast experience in test and measurement has come into play in the creation of this world class facility with accurately calibrated and ready to go test equipment along with expert lab technicians. Henceforth firms can choose to look beyond the necessary large CapEx investments required to set up world class testing facilities. This smart choice can also help firms reduce their product development cycle time and increase their speed to market thereby gaining a competitive advantage over competitors.

In addition, the offering also allows a user to scale, customize and provision testing related requirements, including hardware, software, equipment, workstations, development platforms and services like calibration, debugging, storage etc. Resource charges are based on used services, versus an entire infrastructure.

Microlease does not encourage testing data holding policy. Therefore, end users can test and then debug their design/ prototype without any fear of IPR getting disclosed.

In a nutshell, the benefits of the test center include:

  • High-end test equipment at nominal cost;
  • Flexible Pay As You Go model;
  • Faster time-to-market;
  • Access to wide range of test equipment; and
  • Secured intellectual property with a secured test environment.
