MediaTek Announced The Launch Of Helio P95 Chipset

MediaTek India would like to announce that its latest launch, the MediaTek Helio P95 chipset, carries part number MT6779V/CV and the Helio P90 is numbered MT6779V/CU.

Please note that the name ‘MediaTek Helio P90’ was used by one of the OEM partners, during performance testing via third-party software, in order to avoid information leak regarding the new chipset. MediaTek is reaching out to the third-party software providers to update the part number.

MediaTek Helio P95

The newly launched MediaTek Helio P95 features the next generation processing unit APU 2.0, a fusion of MediaTek’s AI architecture that delivers a 10 percent increase in benchmark performance versus the previous generation. This makes the MediaTek Helio P95 one of the most powerful AI processing engines available for 4G smartphones, ensuring premium AI performance and boosted gaming experiences. This enables brands to build premium smartphones that can capture impressive high-resolution photos at up to 64MP and deliver stunning AI-camera actions, depth processing enhancements for portrait pictures and full body movement tracking for exciting AR apps.

The MediaTek Helio P95 features the Arm Cortex-A75 CPUs, with six Cortex-A55 in a single octa-core cluster that is connected to a large L3 cache accessible by all cores and the IMG Power VR GM 9446 GPU, which enhances gaming performance even further.

Along with MediaTek HyperEngine gaming technology, the MediaTek Helio P95 also features intelligent speed uplift for rapid gameplay, end-to-end optimization for seamless sense response, AI enhancements for visual perception and noise-reduction (AI-NR) and brilliant picture quality that helps in secure and fast facial recognition for mobile payments and smartphone unlocking.

The new chipset features dual 4G VoLTE which provides both SIM connections with 4G LTE data and voice. VoLTE and ViLTE services provide the best possible call and live video experience, with faster call setup time and noticeably better sound quality. With 4G LTE benefits, the second SIM also has faster connectivity, more reliable coverage and lower power consumption than previous generation products.
