Manoj Tandon takes charge as Director, PO&M at Railtel

Manoj Tandon has been promoted as Director/Projects, Operation and Maintenance (PO&M) at RailTel. Talking about his vision in the new role, Mr Tandon said, “I will focus on institutionalizing best in class practices, processes and automation for agile & efficient operations for driving improvements all across.

Tandon was Group General Manager/ Operations and heading RailWire – the retail broadband business of RailTel. During his stint in various capacities in RailTel, he worked in the areas of evolving NOC operations and expanded Internet & Wi-Fi networks to improve business, network resiliency and user experience.

Prior to RailTel, Tandon has worked with Bharti Airtel for almost 14 years.

A BE-Electronics & Telecom graduate from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Tandon has done 4-week intensive Advanced Global Leadership Program at IIM-Calcutta.
