Lava Launches Lava Z61 Smartphone with 1.5GHz Quad Core Processor, Priced at Rs 5,750

Noida-based mobile maker Lava International has expanded its smartphonelineup in India with the launch of Lava Z61 in India. The newly launched smartphone comes in Black and Gold color options and is priced at Rs 5,750.

Lava Z61 : Specifications

Lava Z61 is a 18:9 full screen smartphone and packs 1GB RAM. Lava Z61 is powered by 1.5GHz quad core processor and runs Android Oreo (Go Edition). The device has an internal storage of 16GB.

The 2GB variant will be launched in August 2018 and will be powered by Android Oreo 8.1 operating system, the company said in a statement.

The smartphone comes with 8 megapixel rear camera with autofocus. On the front, the smartphone has a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and Bokeh mode. Lava Z61 sports a 5.45-inch HD+ full lamination screen and comes with corning gorilla glass on a 2.5D curve.

The device is backed by a 3000mAh battery that is claimed to last upto 1.5 days with a single charge. Additionally, the battery is said to come with AI technology support to monitor phone’s battery consumption and to shut down apps running in the background that has not been touched for a while. Lava Z61 also offers ‘Language’ shortcut in the home screen.

As part of the launch offers, the smartphone comes with one-time screen replacement for purchases done before September 30. In addition, Lava has partnered with Reliance Jio to give way Rs 2,200 instant cashback on the latest Z61 if used with a Jio SIM card.

As part of the offer, Z61 customers using Jio will get 44 cashback vouchers of Rs. 50 each – that will be disbursed at the very first recharge of Rs. 198 or Rs. 299. These vouchers can be redeemed on MyJio app for subsequent recharges.
