Internet Service Snapped For Three Days In Manipur

In Manipur, internet service has been snapped for three days from today after the law and order situation deteriorated in some parts of the Kamjong district due to clashes between two communities.

The incident happened at Chasad village of the district. However, no casualty has been reported so far.

Considering the situation, the State Home Department issued an Order today to ban internet/mobile data service with immediate effect for the next three days.

The BJP led State government has sent a team of ministers and MLAs headed by Deputy Chief Minister of Manipur Y. Joykumar to the spot for initiating talks between the communities and bring a peaceful resolution.
