Telecom is undergoing rapid change in India as 5G promises to transform the entire ecosystem to one that is ‘intelligent, immersive and inventive’. 5G will underpin efforts to broad base the use-cases of IOT, AI, machine learning, AR/ VR among others and the report examines the extent to which different industries within the economy are set to benefit from its deployment.

There is a unique outside-in perspective to the report this year as it includes the findings from KPMG in India’s Technology Readiness Index, which was sent to over 5,000 CXOs in 150 countries. The survey covers areas around technology adoption, consumer readiness and data privacy and includes insights into many topical trends.
