Huge Telecom Names New MD

Huge Group’s board has appointed Rob Burger as MD of one of its subsidiaries, Huge Telecom.

Huge Group says Burger’s appointment was effective from 23 January. He replaces Gunter Engling, who was appointed MD of Huge Telecom in November 2017.

Huge Telecom, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Huge Group, delivers fully managed fixed-wireless telecommunications services to corporate clients, through its network of over 700 business partners.

In a statement, Huge Group says Burger’s appointment follows the voluntary announcement on 7 November 2018 that he had been appointed as acting MD.

A chartered accountant by profession, Burger previously held the position of financial director of Huge Telecom.

Huge Group describes the new MD as an experienced leader with strong financial and commercial acumen, noting he is a top-level commercial and financial executive with 17 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.
