Huawei P30 Pro India Launch Confirmed

Huawei recently launched the P30 and the P30 Pro as their flagships for the year 2019. Now Huawei has confirmed that the P30 Pro flagship will be launching in India soon and the landing page on the Amazon shopping website has already gone live. If you are interested, you can click on the “Notify Me” button. The flagship from the Chinese handset maker gets a number of interesting and new features. The new feature which is the most noticeable is the display. The Huawei P30 Pro gets a curved display which looks almost like the one on the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus, except that it has a waterdrop notch. The Huawei P30 Pro also get powerful camera features which include a triple-camera setup on the rear panel and a single camera setup on the front for selfies.

The prices for the Indian market have not been announced yet, and so have been the specific dates for launch. However, the landing page on Amazon states that the flagship is coming to India soon, but no dates. The Huawei P30 Pro gets a triple camera setup on the rear panel. The triple camera setup is a 40-megapixel primary module with an aperture value of f/1.6, 20-megapixel ultra-wide module with f/2.2 aperture value, and 8-megapixel module for depth control with f/3.4 aperture value. The rear panel also gets a ToF which is a Time-of-Flight camera alongside dual-LED flash.

The front camera is a 32-megapixel module which gets an f/2.0 aperture value and also supports fixed focal length feature for the camera. The landing page on Amazon shows the P30 Pro as being a primary photography device. According to Huawei, the camera module gets a SuperZoom Lens with a Super Sensing camera which is the 40-megapixel module, a 20-megapixel Ultra Wide Angle Lens, and also a Huawei ToF camera. The 40-megapixel camera sensor comes with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) while the SuperZoom lens provides up to 10x hybrid zoom. Interestingly, Huawei has stated that the P30 Pro gets an overall DxOMark Mobile score of 112 while the Photo score is 119 points, which is the highest ever for any smartphone yet. Yes, even more than the Google Pixel.

The Huawei P30 Pro which will launch in India will come powered with the 7nm octa-core HiSilicon 980 chipset and the Mali-G76 MP10 GPU. The P30 Pro in India will get 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The internal storage is expandable up to 256GB via microSD. The P30 Pro features a 4,200mAh battery and comes with 40W Fast Charging feature which Huawei claims is able to charge up to 70 per cent in 30 minutes. The P30 Pro also gets fast wireless charging of 15W and also gets reverse wireless charging like the Mate 20 Pro.―Times Now
