Huawei’s sub-brand, Honor, announced the launch of the new Honor 20 series in India. The Honor 20i comes with a price tag of Rs 14,999, Honor 20 retails for Rs 32,999 and Honor 20 Pro is priced at Rs 39,999.
All smartphones will be available on Flipkart and offline retail stores across the country. The Honor 20 will be available from June 25, while the Honor 20i will go on sale on June 18. The company has not revealed the availability of the Honor 20 Pro. The smartphones were launched earlier this year in London.
Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro
Starting with the Honor 20 Pro, it is equipped with a quad-camera setup at the rear panel. The primary camera comes with a 48MP Sony IMX586 1/2-inch sensor with f/1.4 aperture, 1.6μm pixel size along with a 16MP super wide angle lens with 117-degree field of view (f/2.2 aperture), an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and f/2.4 aperture and lastly, there is a 2MP Macro lens with f/2.4 aperture and 1.75μm pixel size.
The Honor 20 also features a similar camera configuration at the back panel as seen in Honor 20 Pro, although, the company has added a 2MP depth sensor instead of an 8-megapixel telephoto lens. For the front, both the phones are loaded with a 32-megapixel selfie camera, which is placed in a punch-hole design.
The smartphones are equipped with a 6.26-inch Full HD+ All View display with a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. Both of them are powered by the latest Kirin 980 chipset. The Honor 20 Pro is available with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, while Honor 20 comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The Honor 20 Pro is loaded with a 4000mAh battery, while the Honor 20 is loaded with 3750mAh battery with 22.5W SuperCharge technology. The Honor 20 series also support virtual 9.1 surround sound technology. Both of them runs on Android 9 Pie with Magic UI 2.1.
Honor 20i is loaded with features a 6.21-inches Full HD+ (2340×1080) display with a pixel density of 415ppi and is powered by a Kirin 710 octa-core processor along with ARM Mali MP4 GPU. The phone runs Android 9.0 Pie operating system based on EMUI 9.0 and gets its juices from 3400mAh non-removable lithium polymer battery. The phone comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
On the camera front, the Honor 20i houses a triple rear camera setup combination of a 24MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP wide-angle secondary sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it has 32MP AI self-timer selfie camera. The camera features include AI beauty, large aperture, night scene, portrait, video, professional camera, and panorama. Connectivity option include WiFi (802.11a/b/g/n/a), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, MicroUSB port and Beidou. The phones measure 154.8 x 73.64 x 7.95 mm and weigh around 164 grams.―The Mobile Indian
