Government to clear air on data privacy in today’s meeting with Big Tech

Big Tech firms such as Facebook, Google, Apple and Amazon will get a chance to raise their concerns on the implementation of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act in a meeting with government officials on Wednesday. Besides big companies, the Centre has also invited startups, e-commerce firms, small businesses, advocacy groups and law firms on September 20 to discuss the transition period required for implementation of the new data privacy law.
