Google Pixel 4XL Goes Through A Massive Leak, Reveals Nearly All The Features

Google Pixel 4 leaks and teasers by the company have nearly left us with zero imagination. While most of the leaks and rumours have been around Pixel 4, we haven’t seen much of Pixel 4XL. Even if we have, we aren’t sure. But a website named Nextrift says it may have got its hands on what can be the forthcoming Pixel 4XL smartphone. The website revealed several new features in a ‘hands-on’ post.

The smartphone seen in the images on the website is the ‘White’ colour variant, which is rumoured to be named as the ‘Clearly White’ model. The particular colour version has Black matte finish sides and a partial glass and partial matte design at the back. While there is an Orange-coloured power button with Black volume buttons on the right side, at the bottom we can see USB Type-C ports and two downward-firing speakers.

In one of the images we see the alleged Pixel 4XL featuring a ‘Smooth Display’ option that will dynamically adjust the refresh rate between 60Hz and 90Hz based on the content. As per the report, the Pixel 4XL has a 6.23-inch AMOLED screen with 3040×1440 pixel resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, 6yGB RAM, 128GB inbuilt storage, 12.2MP + 16MP (telephoto) rear cameras, 8.1MP selfie camera and a 3700mAh battery.

Google Pixel 4XL is also said to feature its version of ‘Face Unlock’. It is said to work similar to Apple’s Face ID including the setup. Also mentioned is that there’s no fingerprint sensor, physical or on-screen so one might have to completely rely on Face unlock in terms of biometric security features.

Unfortunately, not much was revealed about the ‘Project Soli’ based air gestures as the device is a pre-released version and doesn’t run the final version of the software. Air gestures feature is something that we have already seen in the official teaser by Google. The Soli chip is said to be placed beside the front camera, hence the bezel on top.

Google has already announced that it will be revealing the Pixel 4 series on October 15. Some other Google products are expected along with the two smartphones.―Times of India
