Freedom Internet To Launch As ISP On Dutch Market In Late March

The new ISP on the Dutch market, Freedom Internet is planning to launch services at the end of March. The company said it targets 25,000 customers by the end of this year.

Freedom.nl is hoping to take over the place of XS4All on the Dutch market, after KPN announced plans to withdraw the premium brand. Freedom has raised EUR 2.5 million in a crowdfunding campaign to launch its broadband services over DSL and fibre. The first investors are also its first customers, as each received a hosted e-mail account.

In addition to broadband, Freedom will offer optional telephony and TV services. Customers will receive AVM Fritz!Box modems and “reasonable” prices, the company said. Further details on the services have not yet been announced.―Telecompaper
