Former US fab head rejoins TSMC

KC Hsu will rejoin TSMC as a director at the company’s integrated interconnect and packaging department, with the appointment effective immediately, according to the pure-play foundry.

Hsu resigned from Micron Technology as company VP and Taiwan site leader. Prior to joining Micron, Hsu was general manager of WaferTech, TSMC’s wholly-owned 8-inch fab subsidiary in the US. WaferTech has been renamed Fab 11. DigiTimes
