DoT to hold workshop on ‘Advancing 5G towards 6G’ on Jan 20

A joint micro-workshop series on ‘Advancing 5G towards 6G’ is being organized by the DoT and TSDSI on January 20.

The workshop will be held with the purpose of disseminating information about 3GPP technology areas and timelines related to Release 19, mobilize Indian Ecosystem to contribute to Release 19 ongoing studies and identify and propose any new study to be undertaken as Release 19.

Each workshop will be held online and will walk through select 3GPP study items, provide timelines and describe how to contribute.

The list of speakers include R.R Mittar, TEC, DoT, Govt of India; Franscesco Pica, Qualcomm; Ki-Dong Lee, LGE; Dr Samar Shailendra, Intel; Srinivasan Selvaganapathy, Nokia and Xu Yang, Oppo.
