DoT officers felicitated on World Telecom Day

As World Telecom Day was celebrated at the Department of Telecommunications, Devusinh Chauhan, minister of state for communications inaugurated the exhibition, showcasing the innovations in #telecom sector. This will facilitate development of fully #indigenous telecom solutions for the citizens.

The minister felicitated top performing Bharatnet Udyamis and various DoT officials for their exemplary efforts in ensuring India’s last mile connectivity. These included Mc Sathish Kumar, USOF, ITU, Ministry of Communications as best performer in DoT and Naveen Jakhar, ITS, Assistant Director General as best performer in DoT.

The minister also released a report on first International Quantum Communications Conclave that will provide safe communications to the citizens in modern times; launched Open Radio Access Network (ORAN) test bed, developed by @CDoT_India that will facilitate testing of ORAN elements and will facilitate development of fully indigenous #5G radio network in India; and released a postage sStamp on completion of 20 years of services by @USOF_India.
