DoT extends last date for receipt of comments for Consultation Paper

Department of Telecommunications has extended the last date for receipt of comments for the Consultation Paper on ‘Need for a new legal framework governing Telecommunication in India’ to September 1, 2022.

Stakeholders had been demanding evolution of the legal framework to keep it in tune with changing technology. And, the Ministry of Communications had prepared a consultation paper on the need for a new legal framework in the telecom sector.
